We’ve had a surge in orders since the start of the holiday season. My guess is that folks believe our five dollar ipad stand makes a great stocking stuffer, and we agree!
We have been working on new designs for iPad stands and stands for other devices that we hope to begin selling in 2011. You’ll be the first to know when we’re ready to show off our new products.
Thank you for supporting our project and our causes. We wish you the very best during this holiday season and through the coming year.
I couldn’t help smiling tonight as I made the latest batch of iPad stands that will be shipping out tomorrow morning. My first batch went into the mail today and tonight’s order is just about the same size.
Black is by far the most popular color, followed by silver at a distant second. So far, the furthest order to ship has been to The Netherlands, and the largest order to the same address is 4 stands.
Thank you to John M., Eileen R., Sandro C., Jennifer S., Robert M., Peter L., Stan H., Leonard W., Michael B., Susan B., Tom B., Christine B., and David B., you should have your stands in a few days and I want you all to know that I appreciate your contribution to this cause and for trying out this simple product.
We received our first batch of orders today and it’s really exciting! Orders have been made and are ready to ship out in the morning. I want to take everybody who encouraged me to take this leap of faith.
It’s still going to take a lot of effort to get the word out, and if you’re reading this message, you can help by adding this blog to your social bookmarks, sharing on Twitter and Facebook, or just plain telling your friends. Every little bit helps us reach more iPad users.
We just published our first press release for the Five Dollar iPad Stand, and I am anxious to see what happens. The release was published through a Apple-specific press release service called prMac. Their service is great and the price is right for a small start-up like ours. Wish us luck!
Congratulations, you found us! We’re just starting our soft launch. No official purchases have run through the store yet, but we’re geared up with material for making our first 300 ezzyls. I hope you like what you see and that you like what we’re doing.
Ezzyl is something that was born the first day I brought home an iPad. It didn’t take long to realize that holding the screen while watching a video wasn’t going to be very comfortable, so I looked around my shop for something that I could make a quick and simple stand from. In less than 20 minutes, Ezzyl was born, but it wasn’t ready to show. I wanted to see what would happen through daily use, talk to friends, and get some feedback. Everybody thought it was a great idea, so I went ahead with plans to make them for you.
You’ll notice that we’re talking about giving and charities here. I believe that helping others is important to creating a better world for our children. The chance to use some proceeds from the sale of each Ezzyl became a huge motivator to going forward. I hope that you agree, and will help us raise more money for charitable and non-profit organizations by telling your friends about Ezzyl. Every sale will mean at least $1 going toward an organization that is doing good things for others and trying to make the world a better place.
